Variety
is the spice of life!
One of the things that most annoys me is if there is a single vegetarian dish on a menu (especially if it is a stuffed pepper).
I like having choice, especially if I can swap dishes halfway through with my husband so I don't have to make a difficult choice!

Artistic flair
because you can't beat a good food photo!
Food is a form of art and vegetarian food can be sexy, sophisticated and interesting.
No matter how many times my husband sighs, he will have to wait for me to take a good food photo as holiday snaps are just not the same without them.

Proper Portions
equal happiness
Good food comes in good-sized quantities. Even the most formal of meals can be well-balanced so you are not left needing more.
I want to feel full and happy after a meal. Vegetarians are hungry people and need to be fed!

ABOUT
Hi, I'm Fay and I'm actually NOT a vegetarian. Now that might be a bit unexpected (for someone who is writing a vegetarian food blog) but I was first introduced to the delights of vegetarian food by my husband, who is one.
But whenever we went travelling together, he always ended up having chips, bread or salad as his meal! I feel that vegetarian food shouldn't be boring or an after-thought: instead some of my favourite meals have been wonderfully creative, exotic vegetarian dishes both abroad and in the UK.

I hope that you enjoy my blog and it will inspire and help you find tasty, unusual vegetarian food on your travels!
